Outlook for the week

  • Earnings season in the US begins this week with major banks reporting second quarter results and offering business outlook for the rest of the year. The spotlight will also be on China as they release key economic data later in the week.

  • Tuesday, 14 July 2020: Singapore GDP Advance YoY (8am), China Trade Balance
  • Wednesday, 15 July 2020: US CPI (8.30pm), Japan BOJ Rate Decision
  • Thursday, 16 July 2020: China GDP and Industrial Production (10am)
  • Friday, 17 July 2020: Singapore Non-oil Domestic Exports YoY (8.30am)
