    Questions

Microsoft used to be around $30+ price and can advise what are the growth factors to see that it will reach the TP of $100+.? Is it their growth in their Cloud and datacentre services?

    Thank you for your questions!

Growth factors include Cloud and datacentre services. Microsoft Azure has been performing incredibly well, with 10 straight quarters of more than 90% growth and recently been eating into Amazon Web Services (AWS) market share. AWS’s Revenue for 2017 came up to about USD17.46bn and it currently has about 3 times the market share that Azure has. The move from legacy licensing business for Microsoft Office also is another growth factor as the company transitions to a subscription “as a Service” model.

    Questions

Given the forthcoming US Tax Cut policy, what is the expected resultant impact on Microsoft price trend?

    Thank you for your question!

The Tax Cut Policy is already in place and it resulted in a large one time charge that caused MSFT share price to dip as they had to report a Gaap loss due to that one time charge. Removing the extraordinary event, MSFT actually posted better than expected results and moving forward, they should reap the benefits of a lower tax rate to post higher profits.
