Question: We have many questions from investors on book value per share (BVPS).

Why is  BVPS is $5.14 and not $3.57? Should the number of shares include the MCB since the MCBs are considered equity in the balance sheet?

Answer: As per applicable reporting guidelines, the net asset value per share has been computed based on the number of shares in issue less Treasury Shares. The MCBs are not included as the Company retains the discretion to redeem these instruments ahead of their maturity date.
